Reading Club

First Event - Reading Club will have our first event on November 18th from 2:45–3:45 pm. All students who completed and turned in the first reading logs should have received the invitation letter. The event will be held at school cafeteria. Please remind your child to follow the instructions on the invitation letter to prepare for the event. On the invitation letter, we recommended students to pick one group based on their reading level. There will be two groups, and the activities will be around the following two book series
• The Magic Tree House (book 1-10)
• Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
If a student has read these books before, we recommend them to read these books again to prepare for the event or read more books from these two series.
Calling for volunteers - If you enjoy playing with kids and have curiosity of what is in their mind. Consider signing up for this volunteer opportunity. 
Second Reading Challenge - If you child has missed the first challenge but have interest to join the reading club. Don’t worry. Here is the second reading challenge. The reading log for the second challenge can be picked up from the front office, or you can print it out from home.
