Dear Medina Families,

 

Thank you to everyone who has made 2021 such a sucess! We have far more amazing volunteers than we could possibly name, but here are some volunteers we couldn't go any longer without thanking.

 

Thank you to our year-long afterschool club chairs and their full-time volunteers! These clubs have continued to thrive despite major safety-related changes due to the Herculean efforts of our Chess, Math, and DI Chairs: Rongzhi Lu, Gelareh Berjis, Robert Donner, David Vincent, Joanna Jiang, Tracy Qin, and Ujvala Pereira. 

 

Many of our other programs are also going strong. Thank you to Jinah Lim (Reading Club Chair), Lingyun Hu (Runners Club Chair), and Hui Han and Tiffany Shao (Reflections Co-Chairs).

 

We had an exciting final week of school in 2021 with our Medina's Got Talent event and holiday gifts for all of our Medina staff. Thank you to Cecelia Ngan and Ekta Jiwani (Talent Show Co-Chairs), Anita Ambani and Katy Chen (Staff Appreciation Co-Chairs), and all of their volunteers!

 

We'd also like to thank Tammy Khovidhunkit for The Byte, V Hsiao and Weiying Lai for all the website and backend work, and the rest of our communications team through room parents and social media: Debbie Kalpakidis, Marti Enke, and Angela Wang.

 

Finally, big thanks to our Board of Directors for your commitment and leadership in 2021: Svetlana Gershman, Julie Franck, Miranda Lee, Li-Tan Hsu, Sherry Xiong, Marti Enke, Gelareh Berjis, Ekta Jiwani, Masha Hart, Joanna Jiang, Debbie Kalpakidis, Evonne Lai, Tony Tsai, and Angela Wang.
