Book Fair is This Week!

• Set up an eWallet.  This is the easiest way to allow your student to purchase books without sending them to school with cash.  There is no charge to set up an eWallet.  Simply create an account and authorize a spending limit for your child’s account.  You must set up a separate account for each student.  Additional funds can be added at any time and purchases can be tracked.  You are only charged for what is purchased (up to the spending limit).  Visit our webpage at www.scholastic.com/bf/medinaelementaryschool3  and select the “get started” button to sign up. 
• No refunds. If there is a serious issue, please reach out to your book fair co-chairs (bookfair@medinapta.org)  or the cashiers immediately.
• Do not send credit cards with your child.
• Fun zone (nonbook items) will be available. Plan accordingly.
• Classroom libraries Teachers are invited to provide wish lists of titles they would like to add to their classroom libraries by filling out slips they will place in pockets on the poster display in the library. In addition, teachers may choose to set up an individual eWallet account.  They can e-mail their class and donations can be made directly to the teachers eWallet account where they can the shop themselves during the fair to purchase books they would like for their classrooms.  
• All proceeds from the Book Fair directly benefit our school library to purchase library materials throughout the year.

Now, it’s time to load your child’s eWallet, check your calendar and sign up to volunteer and/or shop the fair!  You won’t want to miss it.  Walk-ins without children are welcome to shop during after school hours.  Tues. and Thurs 3-5pm, Wednesday 12:50pm-3:30 and 5-7pm.
