Runners Club - Purple and Teal Glitter Results!

Thanks to everyone who ran the last two routes of the school year- our PURPLE and TEAL glitter routes!

Congrats to Alan (4th grade), Alison (3rd), Alyssa (3rd), Caleb (2nd), Catherine (4th), Chelsea (2nd), Emily (4th), Erik (4th), Jane (K), Jennika (2nd), Kavya (2nd), Kirana (4th), Lili (K), Linus (4th), Max (2nd), Naomi (4th), Natalie (2nd), Nathaniel (3rd), Sahar (4th), Selina, Sophia (3rd), Tessa (2nd), and Yiheng (3rd).

 

RESULTS - PURPLE GLITTER

Our runners found six course markers with silly questions. Here are their answers:

 

1. Would you rather drink melted ice cream or eat cold French fries?

Winner: Drink melted ice cream (60%)

 

Eat cold French fries, because I love french fries, and I don't care it's cold or hot.

2. Would you rather go ice skating or bowling?

Winner: Ice Skating (60%)

Ice skating, because I love winter sports.

- Alison (3rd Grade)

 

Bowling, because ice skating requires falling down to improve.

- Sophia (3rd Grade)

 

3. Would you rather have a little dog or big dog?

Winner: little dog (55%)

 

Little dog, because big dog is very scary.

- Selina

 

Big dog, so they can go hiking with me.

- Kirana (4th Grade) in dissent

  

4. During the summer, would you rather go barefoot all the time or wear snow boots all the time?

Winner: barefoot (55%)

 

Barefoot, because I would not have to have on snow boots at home.

- Nathaniel (3rd Grade)

   

Snow boots, because you might get splinters or maybe your feet may get hurt,burnt if on gravel or hot ground

5. Which do you prefer: water, milk, juice, or soda pop?

Winner: Water (42%) ... followed by juice (32%), milk (16%), and soda pop (10%)

RESULTS - TEAL GLITTER

1. Would you rather be a ninja or a pirate?

Unanimous winner: Ninja

 

Ninjas are cool. Pirates are cruel and always forget where they buried their treasure.

- Alison (3rd Grade)

 

Ninja, because pirates are stinky.

- Jane (Kindergarten)

 

Ninja, because I can sneak around without making a sound like a ninja.

- Max (2nd Grade)

 

2. While watching a movie, would you rather eat popcorn or candy?

Winner: Popcorn (80%)

Popcorn, as long as there is no flavor in the popcorn!

- Naomi (4th Grade)

 

Popcorn, because you miss the movie while searching for the candy you want.

- Chelsea (2nd Grade)

 

3. For vacation, would you rather visit a big city or a small town?

Winner: Big city (65%)

 

Big city, because it has better hotels and food.

- Nathaniel (3rd grade)

 

Small town, because a big city is loud.

4. Would you rather pet a spider or a slug?

Winner: Spider (68%)

 

I CHOSE A RANDOM ONE. PLEASE DONT MAKE ME PET ANY BUGS, ESPECIALLY SPIDERS AND SLUGS. I will scream like this if I am forced to pet one: *breathes* REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
And my screams are loud so you better not let me pet one, it will shatter your hearing.

5. Would you rather live in a space museum or a dinosaur museum?

Winner: Space museum (75%)

 

I would rather live in a space museum because I don't like the idea of waking up and seeing lots of dinosaurs surrounding me.

Dinosaur museum, because they are really really old and I would like to learn a few things : )
