We still need room parents for a few more classes. While the workload as a room parent will be much less this year, we still need parents to help support our classes, our teacher, and especially our kids. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or are ready to be a room parent for Ms. Arnold or Ms. Min. Email: roomparents@medinapta.org.

Our staff list is added on our website. Please update your homeroom teacher under "Family Information" so you receive accurate information from your room parent. Sponsor your favorite teachers and staff ($10 each) for their PTA staff membership as well! 

The BSD ParentVue verification process has started. Please make sure to update your details and photo release so your accurate information will be in the Directory and to allow pictures of your student(s) in our yearbook!

PTA General Assembly Meeting

Join us at our General Assembly meeting on September 9th at 7:30pm on Zoom. You will hear updates from Dr. Harvey and Mrs. Kardos as well as learn more about the PTA's engaging plan for our traditional activities and events for the year.

Chess Club

Come join the award-winning Medina Chess Club! All sessions will be Wednesdays after school online for 1 hour (1.5 hrs for Coach Leo's Advanced class). Registration is wrapping up soon, do not delay!

Math Club - Parent Volunteers Needed!

Math Club will run online this year via Zoom on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3pm-4:15pm starting Oct 6. Students can sign up for one day, not both. Registration opens Tue, Sep 15 at 12pm.

Math Club is seeking full-time parent volunteers who can commit to volunteering every week. Volunteering is the only way to guarantee your child's spot in the club. If you are interested, please email mathclub@medinapta.org. Positions are offered first come first served. Check the Math Club webpage for volunteering requirements.

PTA-Partnered After-School Programs

We are thrilled to provide a wide variety of after-school programs to engage our children! These programs are respected Medina PTA-Partnered vendors that are outside of Medina PTA-Sponsored clubs. Vendor-registration will open Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 8:30am through the vendor's website. Links to the registration will be provided on our website a week prior. You will need your personal devices to participate in these programs.

STEM Night 2020

Medina's first STEM Night of the year will be held virtually at 6:30 - 8:00pm on Oct 7th. The program includes exciting LIVE shows from our favorite museums, and a Science Demo session from students.

All students (K-5) are invited to submit a 1-minute video of a STEM-related presentation or experiment. Submissions are due October 4th, 2020 at 11 pm. Each submission will receive a participation award! Come join us for exploration, discovery and entertainment!

Reading Club

Reading Club has kicked off! Our goal is to read 2 million minutes by the end of 2020!

Track your daily reading minutes through the Reading Logs on the PTA website and submit them by Monday of each week for a chance to win amazing prizes! The more you read, the more chances you have of winning. September's prizes are awesome science and crystal growing kits.
