Medina DI Teams Shine at Global Finals 2024: Join Us for a Celebration!

Medina DI teams achieved remarkable results in the Global Finals 2024! Team “I Need Some Sleep” placed 4th and Team “The Lemonaders” achieved 10th place.
Medina DI Club will be holding a celebration party next Monday, June 3rd, at 5 PM in the school cafeteria. We invite all Medina DI families to join us in celebrating with our coaches, TMs, and volunteers. Families interested in joining DI next year are also welcome to attend!

Join us to learn how families can support education for your little loved ones! Dr. Laura Kastner from UW will deliver a keynote speech on 'Parenting the Stress-Resilient Child'. Other sessions will feature a panel of middle school students and 4th & 5th graders, as well as a breakout session on 'Technology and Mental Health' led by our district MHAT counselor, Dr. Jared Taylor. We hope you enjoy!

The Cultural Art program on Tuesdays is designed for students in G3 -G5,and there are still a few spots available. Very welcome to register!

The Medina PTA provides funding to educators to implement activities, and projects designed to enhance learning experience to create innovative opportunities. Funding provided for Grants is by Medina PTA with our community's generous donation.
We are excited to announce the following grants have been approved:
- Coding program
- Community Garden
- Stem week
Arts Programs Registration Update

Thank you to those who successfully registered or joined the waitlist for the Arts program!
Due to popularity, we are nearly sold out with very limited spots for Cultural Art, and the waitlist for Arts programs will close Wednesday, September 27th.
We still need volunteers for Creative Arts (K-2), Cultural Art (3-5), Needle Felting (3-5), and Acting (3-5). We have reserved a spot in each of these program for the volunteer's child. Anyone on the waitlist for those programs will receive priority. You can request to volunteer here.

Let's walk to school together on the Walk & Roll to School Day! Join us at 7:40AM on Wed, October 4th by the playground in Medina park. We will walk south through the park, and then along the 80th Ave until we reach the school. Our walk to school event is supported by the City of Bellevue. If you cannot make it, we hope you will still embrace the day and walk or bike safely to school!
Calling for Volunteers! We need two volunteers to help out with the 2023 walk & roll to school day event in the morning of Wed, October 4th. The volunteers will be stationed at difference entrances to the school and hand out prizes to kids while they arrive. Please reach out here by Monday September 25th if you are interested.

Mon, May 8th-bring 2 stems of flowers, one stem for the classroom and one for front door drop off(these will be arranged into bouquets for staff).
Wed, May 10th - Give a card to your teacher and staff. Staff cards can be brought to drop off. Learn about what else is planned for this week.
