Gulliver's Space

Congratulations to all our children who participated in the MCT play Gulliver's Space. They worked so hard and put on a terrific show with just one week to pull it together!  The long days paid off and the two shows were amazing to see.  A special thank you to Dongqin Feng and Julia Zhu for pulling this great program together. Another special thank you to Eva Z.'s family, Yu Deng and Lei Zhao and Aelita R.' family, Adam Rogers, Xuemei Rong and Ian Montgomery who hosted our tour directors this year. And thank you also to all the volunteers who setup, took down, photographed, videoed and manned concessions. As we all know, the activities our children enjoy couldn't be done without the help of you, our dedicated parent volunteers.

Medina Wine Club

Are you a wine lover who enjoys discovering rarer wines from the NW? Would you like Medina Elementary PTA to receive a donation when you purchase something you already enjoy?

Medina Wine is offering Medina families either a 4 or 6 bottle monthly wine club. The wine selection is curated from exclusive releases not available in stores. They have committed to making a sizable donation per wine club membership. While you can purchase this as a gift as well, all deliveries must be in the Medina/downtown Bellevue areas. Thanks to Medina Wine for this commitment to their community. Please fill in Wine Club Medina Order From to submit your order !

Book Fair this year was a HUGE success!  We must give extra big shout outs to Tracy Mayclin, who stayed morning till night almost every day of the fair, ringing up sales and counting every last penny, to Olga Tenenika – who drove all the way to Auburn to pick up our extra stock of books that we so desperately needed after record sales the first day of the fair, and to Alicia Alibhai and Brinette Rounds who were also present every day of the fair ready to help.  Thank you to each and every volunteer who showed up and contributed your time and to the staff who supported our efforts. You came early, you stayed late. You helped kids count their money (because they always forget tax). You helped set up, break down, restock, and reorganize. The Book Fair is successful because of all the effort that goes into making it happen and we can’t do it without our army of volunteers.

To the parents who sent their children to school with spending money to foster their love of reading and drove their kids to school for Family Night, and to the students who brought in money they had saved to spend at the Book Fair – thank youYour passion for books (and let’s be honest, the stuff in the Fun Zone) helped our PTA raise over $10,000 towards Scholastic Books for our school library – a record setting amount! Your generosity is what helps make our library amazing, and we couldn’t do it without you.

Carrie Browne and Rebecca Johnston, Library Co-Chairs and Julia Mitchell and Lynda Roy, Your Librarians .

You should have received an email with lesson and season pass sign up information by this time, if you registered for Ski bus. Please contact us if you have not received this email, and we will send it to you. Also if you plan to drive your child up please contact us as well and we will send the lesson and pass information as well.

Dear Medina families,
Every year Jubilee Reach provides Thanksgiving Baskets to hard working families who may need some extra assistance.  If you would like to receive a basket, please complete the Thanksgiving Food Drive form and return it to the Medina Elementary School office in a confidential envelope addressed to me.  (Don’t worry about the date deadline but please try to return as soon as possible.)  Pick-up will be at Jubilee Reach and not at the school.  Please email me at or call me at 425-456-5410 if you have any questions.

Looking For A Creative Volunteer

We are hoping to find someone who is creative and good with visual projects.  The school would like to create a wall, for our community to see and reference, of all of our full staff, pictures, names, and jobs.  We have an interested staff member who will be a point person as well and would love to find a parent volunteer who has an interest in this. Please contact if you are interested.
