Presidents' Message

Dear Medina Community,

We greet you with sincere hope that you and your families are doing well as we embark on the next few weeks of change. We want to thank all of the administrators, teachers, staff, and parent volunteers who put in extra time this past few weeks as the public health situation in our area requires our attention and resources. We thank you for being adaptable and supportive.

We would love to help connect people who are looking to share ideas and have conversations about what this home-based learning period will look like for all of us. Check out our Stay Connected section below to learn more about getting involved with this initiative. We will keep you up to speed on things as we know what is ahead. We are looking forward to things continuing to stay calm and hope you all feel the support and resilience of our community.

Warm regards,
Marti and Yan

Stay Connected

Join our Virtual Community!

Join our Stay Connected virtual community to share ideas and resources about a number of topics related to our current situation. To participate, please email us at info@medinapta.org with the subject "Stay Connected Virtual Group Member."

We want everyone in our community to feel reached out to and to have virtual access to each other during this unique and challenging time of social distancing. We know there are a lot of creative ideas and approaches out there and many new to come. Our Stay Connected group will be a good place for productive and positive idea-sharing to occur, and to keep our kids and families enriched and thriving. We are excited to see where this new chapter goes!

After School Activities

Many thanks to all parents and after school program partners for your patience as we find solutions to our suspended winter after school programs. We understand that the situation is difficult for everyone involved, and we thank you for your kindness, compassion, and understanding.

We hope to resume the programs when students return to school. If this is not possible, we will work out alternative arrangements with each partner, such as credits or partial refunds, while keeping the community's best interest in mind. Please stay connected, and we will provide updates as we get through this unusual time. Please email us if you have any comments or concerns: programs@medinapta.org

Thank you!
VP Programs, Medina PTA
Li-Tan and Liang

Please make sure your child submits an online book report for every book that he/she reads from the Book List. This is the only way we will know how many and which books your child has read!

Bellevue Schools Foundation

Mark your calendar and register today for May 1, 2020. We can't wait to see you at the Annual Spring for Schools Benefit Luncheon at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue.

The theme of this year's event is connectivity, celebrating the ways that we connect students to one another through technology, the arts, and emotional support for stress, anxiety and depression. Our educational Showcase starts at 10:30-11:50am and Lunch and Program at 12:00-1:00pm. The luncheon is the best way to experience the difference donors--just like you--make for our students and schools.
