Well, it’s that time of the year again where we are super excited to welcome Missoula Children’s Theatre to Medina Elementary.  This year’s performance will be the unique interpretation of the treasured children’s classic,  The Secret Garden ! For those of you who are new to our school, the Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT), the Nation’s largest touring children’s theatre, has been touring extensively for several years now from Montana to Japan, and will visit nearly 1,200 communities this year with up to 44 teams of Tour Actor/Directors. Math Adventure Night Do your kids have what it takes to defeat the bad guys and save the day?  Math Adventure is returning to Medina Elementary on Friday, 5/10/2019 and the theme is  Secret Agent!  Math Adventure events are non-competitive, team-based math nights that uniquely blend math puzzles, theater, and rewards –  making math   fun . Dear Medina Community, As you know, our first major fundraiser of the year, the Capital Campaign, is officially over, though you can turn in envelopes to the office or make donations all year round. We have raised  over $105,000  thanks to you and this does not include any of our corporate matching dollars! Book Fair!
  This year’s Scholastic Book Fair, is December 4-6.  The fair will be open each day before, during and after school and also on Wednesday, December 5, in the evening for Family Night. Not only is Book Fair a great opportunity to encourage your student’s love of reading, but it is our sole library specific fundraiser for the year. Scholastic donates back to our school a portion of the proceeds of all sales, which allows us to supplement the district budget for books and make our library the amazing one that it is.   This year, by having our book fair the first ... read full article
